Mission / Philosophy / Objectives:

Assets School serves gifted and capable students, specializing in those with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. We provide a strength-based program, complemented by outreach and training, that empowers students to become effective learners and confident self-advocates.

Our mission is to provide premier educational services to gifted and dyslexic children through model, integrated learning environments and professional outreach programs. We aspire to a community – in Hawaii and throughout the world – in which all children thrive and realize their own potential so that society benefits from their unique talents and abilities.

Assets School specializes in serving children and young people from 5 to 18 years of age whose capability is greater than their achievement and those who are in need of acceleration and enrichment. Counseling and behavior management are central to an Assets education and are integrated into all programs. Assets School is a day school and does not have boarding facilities. Assets does not offer English as a Second Language (ESL) programs.
